Chapel Hours

The Chapel is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We recognize all holidays observed by the University. Occasionally, in circumstances of inclement weather, the Chapel business hours may vary.

Chapel Services

Worship services are held every Sunday during the academic year at 11:00 a.m. in Cramton Auditorium unless otherwise noted. The auditorium is centrally located on the campus of Howard University at 2455 Sixth St, NW, Washington, DC 20059. Telephone 202-806-7194.

Schedule of Speakers

Broadcast and Recordings of Chapel Services

Chapel Services are broadcast the following week each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. on Howard University radio station, WHUR-FM 96.3. The Easter Chapel service is a live broadcast.

Recordings of Chapel services may be ordered by mail or by appointment. Call 202-806-7911 for more information. Recordings are also available immediately after the worship service. Recordings of recent services (2011) may be purchased in person at the Howard University Bookstore located at 2225 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20059, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
