Youth Empowerment and Education

Student participants in West Virginia will promote youth civic engagement by teaching different tools and techniques that can be used to execute the change youth want to see in their communities. Participants will primarily work in the schools of Charleston, WV and in small pockets in Beckley, WV with the goal of inspiring young West Virginians to take hold of their futures through a greater understanding of the power of their voice
