Jummah Prayer Series

Howard University Jummah Prayer Services are the emerging epi-center of Black Islamic Thought and social action. Our community is helping to create the platform and expand the discussion.

Jummah prayer service is held every Friday during the academic calendar year at 1:30 pm in the Blackburn Center Interfaith Prayer Room, 142.  This room is also open for all daily prayers.  We offer a different guest khateeb (preacher) each Friday to highlight the various voices that encompass our Ummah (community).  Join us as we welcome students, faculty, staff, and guests each week.  Jummah is also held at the Howard University Hospital 3800 Towers Bldg (back of the hospital) at 1:30 pm.

We celebrate both Eids and offer Iftar meals (breakfast) during Ramadan.
