Violence Prevention and Youth Empowerment

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a city filled with community pride and vibrant culture. From its festivals to its tight-knit neighborhoods, Milwaukee is a place where people show up for each other. The city is full of determination, hard workers, and a community that refuses to give up.

Howard University Alternative Spring Break is excited to serve in Milwaukee, focusing on Youth Empowerment and Violence Prevention. We will partner with local schools and community organizations to mentor students, support educational success, and help create safe spaces where young people can thrive. Through hands-on service and mentorship, we aim to equip youth with tools for healthy relationships and overall success, helping to build a stronger Milwaukee community.
