Jummah Prayer Series
Howard University Jummah Prayer Services are the emerging epi-center of Black Islamic Thought and social action. Our community is helping to create the platform and expand the discussion.
Jummah Prayer Service is held every Friday during the academic calendar year at 1:00 pm in the Little Chapel in the Carnegie Building. We offer a different guest khateeb (preacher) each Friday to highlight the various voices that encompass our Ummah (community). Join us as we welcome students, faculty, staff, and guests each week.
Jummah Prayer Service is also held in the Howard University Hospital, 3800 Towers Building located at the back of the hospital at 1:00 pm.
During Ramadan, we celebrate both Eids and offer Iftar meals (breakfast) to the university community.
