Mission

The Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel (ARMC) Beacon Liturgical Dance Ministry exposes participants to the ministry of dance, site visits, field trips, devotion and research in order to nurture the dancers' growth toward a closer understanding of themselves and God.  Using a combination of various dance styles, Beacon ministers to the Howard community, showing the love of God in effective ways. Dancing with Christ restores the mind, body, and soul by totally separating from all worldly distractions to totally focus upon communion with God, understanding of self, and one's responsibility to the worshipping community.

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday and Thursday during the school year at 7 pm. Open call auditions are held at the beginning of every Fall semester.
