Developing Pathways to Food Stability & Education

Birmingham is home to vibrant communities that often encounter barriers to essential resources, including access to nutritious food and quality education. These challenges emphasize the need for collective action to support the community and ensure that residents can thrive.

The Howard University Alternative Spring Break program will serve in Birmingham, Alabama, focusing on the Developing Pathways to Food Stability and Education initiatives. By partnering with local organizations, we aim to address these issues through meaningful service and advocacy. Our efforts will include assisting with food distribution programs, supporting educational initiatives, and creating growth opportunities. Through these actions, we hope to empower individuals and families to overcome obstacles and realize their full potential.
