In the heart of the South lies Memphis, Tennessee, where young people are navigating the challenges of economic hardship and educational disparities. Fostering youth development involves nurturing a passion for education and showcasing the opportunities it brings. Howard University Alternative Spring Break is dedicated to this mission.

Through our Youth Empowerment and Community Development initiatives, we are partnering with Memphis schools, community centers, and grassroots organizations to inspire and uplift the city’s next generation. Our efforts include mentorship programs, skills workshops, and collaborative service projects, all aimed at empowering Memphis youth with the tools and confidence they need to shape their futures.
