Charlotte, affectionately known as the "Queen City," has experienced incredible growth in recent decades. Many are drawn to its economic opportunities, vibrant culture, and warm Southern charm. While this rapid expansion opens doors for many, it also brings challenges that impact our local resources and the community as a whole.

We truly understand the importance of supporting our youth during this transformative time, which is why we are so excited to return to Charlotte with our initiative, "Youth Empowerment through Education and Restorative Justice." By partnering with local schools and community organizations, Howard University Alternative Spring Break is devoted to helping Charlotte’s young people navigate their path to success.
